Old appliances out of your way
The new fridge is on the porch and the old one is still in the kitchen. We carry the old one out, get it to a scrap yard, and the delivery crew has room to work.
Appliances we pick up
Appliances are heavy, awkward and full of parts that should not go in a landfill. A refrigerator has refrigerant that must be recovered before the steel is scrapped. A water heater still holds water and weighs more than it looks. A washer will walk across the floor if you tip it wrong. We handle all of it with a dolly and two people.
In the summer heat, a dead freezer in a San Antonio garage turns into a problem fast. If yours has stopped cooling and there is still food in it, say so when you text. We bag the contents, tape the door and get it out before it gets worse.
- Refrigerators, freezers and ice makers
- Washers, dryers and stacked laundry units
- Water heaters, tank and tankless
- Stoves, ranges, ovens and dishwashers
- Window air conditioners and dehumidifiers
Disconnects and recycling
We do simple disconnects. Unplugging, undoing a washer's hoses, pulling a dryer vent and shutting a water heater's supply valve are part of the job. We do not cap gas lines or do electrical work. If your range or dryer is on gas, have it shut off and disconnected before we arrive, or ask us and we will tell you who to call.
Nearly every appliance we haul gets recycled. Steel, copper and aluminum go to a scrap yard, and refrigerant is recovered by a licensed handler. That is a better outcome than the curb, and it is why we ask for a photo up front, so we know what we are loading and where it needs to go.

Yes. We take it whole. Removing the doors is a good safety step if it will sit for a while, but we do not need you to do it.
We shut the supply valve and disconnect the lines. The tank still has water in it, and we drain it before carrying it out.
Basements, yes. Attic units are usually air handlers and we need to see a photo of the access before we say yes.
We photograph the roof and show you. If appliance removal is not what the roof needs, we say so and quote the work it does need.
